A very good review?

CaptainBlack3Every author loves a good review. We all wish that every one of the readers of our books would give us at least 3 stars and say something nice about our writing. Apart from anything else, good reviews on Amazon encourage other readers to take a look at our books.
But I’m particularly grateful to one recent reviewer. She gave three stars to my early historical romance, Captain Black (written as Caroline Martin) and said some good things about it. But she also pointed out that there was a whole chunk of text missing from the ebook.
I had a look at it, and she was quite right. I had somehow managed to miss out the whole of Chapter 12 when converting the text to ebook format, simply by failing to tick one little box. It was easily put right, but if that kind reader hadn’t mentioned it, I should never have known and perhaps missed out on future good reviews.

So thank you ‘Kindle Customer’ whoever you are! Chapter 12 is now restored to its proper place. And hopefully I shan’t make the same mistake again.
